Hello! It’s Paula here today and I’m excited to tell you that I’m going to be sharing ArtStacks projects with you every day this week! I’ve been in lockdown and I’ve found time to do some extra creating with my favourite ArtStacks papers. I hope you’ll drop in each day to follow along with what I’ve been doing.
I’m starting the week with a double art journal page.
I painted, stamped and sprayed through some stencils across the two pages to create the background. I then stuck down the torn strip of the Paper Ruffles from The Dressmaker CardStack. I love the texture of the stitching on the ruffles page, even if I’m not creating a ruffle out of it. I then created each page as an individual art journal page. I do this a lot as I like my pages to co-ordinate and will take elements across both pages.
I’ve cut out the beautiful flowers from the Canvas Photo Paper found in The Homemaker stack. I cut various figures using a stencil, this one out of the Vintage Music Paper from the same The Homemaker stack. I added the butterflies and title from the Anemones & Friends CardStack.
For the next page, I added more of the figures, one out of the same Canvas Photo Paper from The Homemaker stack. I just adore this paper, it’s so gorgeous! The other two figures were cut out of kraft paper, one of which I stamped and the other I coloured with gloss spray.
I incorporated more of the Vintage Music Paper as a circle, again from The Homemaker Stack. I also added the Tissue Paper Flowers and a quote from the Anemones & Friends CardStack.
I used The Dressmaker CardStack:
