Be Gentle With Yourself by Sharon Fritchman

Hi everyone.  It’s Sharon and I’m happy to be here today sharing an art journal page that I made using our new Artist Series releases by Tracy Verdugo!  I am still crushing on her packs and couldn’t wait to create another page using them.  This time I utilized one of her beautiful angels and amazing title from her Love Lives Here pack:

I started with a watercolored background and added some texture using machine stitching with black thread.  Next, I fussy cut one of Tracy’s beautiful angels from her Love Lives Here pack:

and adhered it to my page.  I popped the colorful title from the same pack after I cut it into a heart shape:

Finally, to mix things up, I gave the angel some beautiful blue wings and added 3 butterflies from the Wings and Things pack.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed making this page and hope that I inspired you to create one, too!
