Be Uncommon by Michelle Liptak
Hi everyone! It’s Michelle here today sharing an art journal page that I made using the Lorraine Haight Moraine BackStack Artist Series pack. I created this page to go into my chipboard journal, which is the same journal that I used to make the first page that I designed for ArtStacks!
I just love the colors and combinations that are included in the Lorraine Haight Moraine BackStack! I knew I wanted to use the yellow piece with the flower, so I centered my page around it. I outlined parts of the flower with a black marker just to make it pop a little. Then I used the cutout from the flower to create a pocket. I made a tag to go into the pocket, and adhered “Be Uncommon” from the Words of Wisdom MiniStack to the tag. I finished the tag with some fabric scraps, a star charm, and beads from my stash. Here’s a close-up:
I completed my page by adding the “July” tab, which will go behind my “June” page in the chipboard album.
