Hi everyone. It’s Tracy here today sharing a card that I made using the amazing new releases: the All Dressed Up and Wings and Things stacks.
For this 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inch card, I started with one of the many backgrounds that I made and have in my stash. (I wanted to begin by giving my card a monochromatic feel, along with a magical, colorful quality!)
After I picked my background, I tore the beautiful figure of the girl from the All Dressed Up pack, placed it on a crumbled scrap of black tissue paper, then sewed it to my background. Next I took multiple black and white dragonflies and butterflies from the Wings and Things pack and glued them around my magical girl. I scattered some gold flakes to sit under my “winged things” and adhered two hand-made buttons from my stash. I picked the perfect sentiment from the Wings and Things pack, cut it in half, and outlined the edges with my Stabilo-All pencil. I glued the sentiment to the bottom of my card. I added a little sparkle and more magic to my girl by lightly imprinting her hair with my gold and silver gel pens! Finally, I glued the whole thing onto a Kraft card base and . . . she is ready to go!
Thank you for stopping by today.
