Hi everyone! It’s Sharon and I am sharing a 12 x 12 scrapbook page that I made using the new Artist Series Backstack along with 3 other stacks! I LOVED combining papers from these versatile stacks to create a cohesive scene on my page:
I started by fussy cutting the photo of my daughter that I took at Disney World back on 2007. Next, I made my background scene, first by using various watercolor sprays and inks, then by adding tissue paper around the border from the Artist Series Lorraine Haight Moraine Backstack. Subsequently, I adhered the clouds that I die cut from the blue cardstock, and hills/grass, die cut from the green cardstock in the same stack. To make the raindrops, I used a stencil that I had on hand with blue watercolors. I also hand cut raindrops from the black and white parchment paper in the same stack – the Lorraine Haight Moraine Backstack. The doors were cut out from the Doors and Windows Corestack to add interest. Finally, I added my title using tissue paper from the Words of Wisdom Ministack and a quote from the Inspirational Words MiniStack.
If you are new to fussy cutting or using tissue paper on your projects, you can check out ArtStacks’ videos to get the most out of your stacks!! You can view them at the website by clicking the “Artstacks Essentials” tab.
