Dress to Impress by Paula Perry

Hello, it’s Paula here today sharing some creative work. This art journal page started as a ‘mop up’ page…essentially using up the ends of paint, no point wasting it 😉 The leftover paint was scraped on the page using a palette knife and sponged through a stencil.

I added a hand-cut circle from a piece of sheet music from The Homemaker CardStack, adding more yellow paint over the top with a palette knife to embed the circle in the page. I randomly stamped around the page and journalled with white paint pen on the darkest part.  I added some ArtStacks tissue paper flowers from the Anemones & Friends pack and coloured them in with white water-coloured paint. Finally I added the three ladies from The Dressmaker CardStack and a title from the All Dressed Up pack.

Here is a close-up of the tissue paper flowers, which I roughly painted with water-colour.
