I Meant to Behave….. by Paula Perry

Hello, it’s Paula here and I’ve made an art journal page using loads of ArtStacks products. I hope you like it, I certainly had fun creating it.

I started with the sheet of vintage music paper that has a rose border stitched onto it from The Homemaker stack. I tore it and placed it on either end of the journal page. I added paint and stencilling across both pages, with more paint and texture paste. I added another layer with Distress Oxide, repeating the stencilling.

While the background dried, I glued one of the gorgeous tissue paper girls from the Faces and Figures  stack to the pianola paper from The Homemaker stack, allowing some of the words and the tiny dots from the pianola paper to show through.

Here’s a close-up of the girl so you can see the subtle dots of the pianola paper underneath the tissue paper…

I added individual roses from The Homemaker stack and some flowers from the Anemones and Friends CardStack behind the girl and around the page. Of course no page is complete without a butterfly or 3, also from the Anemones & Friends CardStack 😉

My title is from the new Witty Words MiniStack, which I simply cut out into strips.
