If You Want To Fly by Tracy Fear

Hi everyone!  It’s Tracy here today sharing a three-dimensional card that I made using the Wings and Things stack.  I just love this stack because it contains so many beautiful and detailed images!!

For my card, I started by collaging one of the gorgeous butterflies (printed on tissue paper from the Wings and Things stack) onto a crinkly pearl piece of scrapbook paper. (I like the iridescent effect!)

Next, I created my background on watercolor paper using distress ink sprays in various soft pink colors. When the inks dried, I machine stitched the butterfly panel onto this background.  I picked my sentiment from the words and quotes page, (printed on heavy cardstock) cut it into strips, and colored it soft pink.

Then I fussy cut a pair of gorgeous black wings from the Wings and Things stack, attached them to the back of the top sentiment and popped it up with some foam tape. Finally, I glued the rest of the sentiment directly to the panel, then popped the panel (with more foam tape) onto the black card base.

Here is a closer look at my card:

I used the following stack:

Thanks so much for stopping in today!

And thank YOU, Tracy, for creating this gorgeous card!  WOW!  The quote is perfect here!
