“Inspired” by Rebecca Janousek

Hi! It’s Rebecca here with you today. I’ve made a colourful lady in my art journal using a mix of ArtStacks papers.

I started by adding some background papers. I used the pianola roll paper and the really old book paper from The Homemaker stack plus some of the tissue wall from the Doors & Windows stack.

 

I used a palette knife to swipe gesso over the background papers. I then and added a rainbow of colors to cover the journal page.

Then I added stamping and a few marks in black.

I began my lady by adding those gorgeous tissue eyes from the Faces & Figures stack.


I then drew a face around the eyes with charcoal pencil and coloured the eyes a striking green.

I lastly added the wings from the Anemones & Friends stack and phrases from the Faces & Figures stack, and voila!
