Hello creative friends. It’s Tina here from @tinahoisart. Today I will guide you through a step by step arty paper mobile project using the Love Lives Here stack as well as some beautiful tissue from the Happy Scraps pack created by Shana Bebeklis.
To see a short video of this gorgeous creation, head to https://youtube.com/shorts/tnoEvvJpJmc
Step 1:
Select the images. I decided on the rainbows and two heart images, one with the tiny house on it, from the Love Lives Here pack.
Step 2:
Cut the heart images and set aside .
Cut the rainbow images and use them as a template on some scrap cardboard (this will reinforce the papers).
Cut the “love lives here” words and set aside.
Step 3:
Trace and cut the rainbow images once again using the art paper below from the Love Lives Here pack (this will be the reverse side of your rainbow).
Step 4:
With a glue stick, glue the rainbow shapes to either side of the cardboard and set aside.
Step 5:
Select a tissue face image from the same pack and adhere it to the larger heart with some matte medium or Mod Podge, overlapping it over the little house. Allow to dry.
Step 6:
Turn the heart over, apply matte medium and adhere the black and white tissue paper from the Happy Scraps pack and cut around the heart image leaving about ¼” as an edging. (Another option is to simply trace the heart as we did with the rainbows and glue the two hearts together.) Use a thin layer of matte medium both under and on top of the tissue.
Step 7:
Remember this will twirl and sway so feel free to add a message on the reverse side! This quote is also from the Love Lives Here pack.
Step 8:
Punch holes in the centre of each rainbow and the heart. Each piece should have two holes so that they can be attached together. Add some stitching for texture (optional).
Step 9:
With your string of choice attach the pieces together. I used fishing line because it’s not as visible.
Step 10:
Glue the words “Love Lives Here” on the larger rainbow.
Step 11:
Personalise your mobile with some ribbon and it’s ready to be hung or given to a friend!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this little project.

I’d love to see what you create!
Wishing you all a blessed and creative New Year✨
