Hello, it’s Paula here with you today. I hope this finds you all well! Today I have an art journal page I made with the fabulous ArtStacks Limited Edition stacks.
I created the background with paint and gloss sprays, both from Dina Wakley. I added the pianola roll paper from the ‘The Homemaker’ stack on top so the colour behind the pianola roll highlighted the dots. I had previously cut out the circles for another project.
By the time I finished you could hardly see those fabulous little dots as I had added some extra stenciling with paint and Dylusions spray. To that I added a thin strip of the stitched paper ruffle from ‘The Dressmaker‘ stack and a Tim Holtz mannequin die which I cut out of the gorgeous floral canvas paper, again from ‘The Homemaker‘ stack.
My page was made with papers from The Homemaker stack….
….. and the Dressmaker stack.
Paula’s ArtStacks Artist Tip: When using pianola roll paper, back it with paper that coordinates with your project so the colour shows through the holes. This will add more interest to your background as well as adding a cohesive look to the whole page!
Thank you kindly for stopping by.
