Artist Series, Bright & Bold, Floral Fetish
‘Nurture’ by Paula Perry
Hi! It’s Paula here. I’ve created my piece on canvas today, using Lisa Oxley’s Bright & Bold and Floral Fetish packs.
I used a mix of stencils and paint for my background. I cut out a silhouette from Page 1 of the Bright & Bold stack and used it as my focal point. There are many various sized hearts in this pack. I’ve used one here – the blue one. I then used some of the other hearts as templates, tracing them onto the ‘easy tear paper’ from Lisa’s Floral Fetish pack.
To finish, I tore my title from the Floral Fetish pack. I’ve also journalled around the figure about nurturing the self, although writing on the canvas in pen isn’t the easiest of tasks 😉
