Sending Love and Flowers by Makena Bennett
Welcome back!
Our newest Artist Team member, Makena Bennett, was entranced by the blue and purple hues of the flowers and butterflies in the Anemones & Friends CardStack and immediately thought of an old and secret countryside. To make these gorgeous cards she fussy-cut some of the images and layered them on to her background which she created with paint and stencils.
ArtStacks Artist Tip: Makena says, when fussy-cutting don’t worry about being perfect – you can always soften the edges with some brown ink and a sponge. It makes the images pop more too!
Makena used our Anemones & Friends CardStack in digital form to create this. She simply printed the images on her home printer.
