Hello, it’s Annie back with you today. For today’s card, I went with a design using The Dressmaker CardStack. This fabulous stack took me back to my childhood days. Remember playing with paper dolls and dressing them up with those little tabs you fold back? I spent hours playing with them and am delighted ArtStacks has this range. Memories are precious.
I have a step by step to show you how this was made.
1] Starting off with a 5 1/2x 5 1/2 ” card.
2] Using a smaller printed piece from the stack, tearing and distressing edges then using a Pinecone stamp pad to darken the edges.
3] An oval shape die cut was added to build up the centre of my card over some gauze.
4] In the CardStack there is a lovely sheet of pre-stitched ruffles. I cut out a strip and gathered the stitching to create a ruffle.
5] Tearing and distressing more sheets of pattern paper creating more layers to the card.
6] Lucy and her dress were fussy cut and added to show you how pretty these are. I finished off with a tag and sentiment along with flowers and butterfly from the beautiful Anemones and Friends CardStack.
I finished off by adding some pearls, the scissors and thimble from my stash.
We love what Annie created!
