They Thought I was Normal by Paula Perry

Did you see Paula’s blog post on Monday?  Well, she’s back today sharing a beautiful art journal page that she made using another grid design:

She explains how she made it in her own words as follows:

Hello, how are you all?  After creating my previous grid page that I shared on Monday, I had to play again to show you how I learned from my mistakes. Ha Ha!  I have found that art journaling is all in the fun of creating and learning as you go, right?  For me, the more I create, the more I learn . . .

This time, I used a black (instead of white) pen to make my grid  I found that the black pen didn’t ooze into the kraft background like my white pen did.  I started with acrylic green paint, then drew over it with black pen to make my grid.  I wanted to use ‘little pictures’ to fit into my grid like I did last time, but decided to utilize human figures instead of ‘critters!’  I created with pieces from Deb Weiers’ Wonky Bits (one of her new releases) and Wonky Faces packs, as well as images from the All Dressed Up, and Wings and Things packs.  Since I used people instead of animals this time, I thought: what do people say?  I chose to use a “blah blah” stamp that I had in my stash. Perfect, right? LOL!

And the blue paper is from the Lorraine Haight Moraine Altered Ancestors pack.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Your visits are always appreciated!

I used the following stacks:

Deb Weiers Wonky Bits

Deb Weiers Wonky Faces

All Dressed Up

Wings & Things

Lorraine Haight Moraine Altered Ancestors

What a fun, fabulous, and absolutely beautiful page, Paula.  We love your creativity!  Thank you.
