Timeless Treasure by Chaitali Dekhtawala
Hi. It’s Chaitali here. I have created a layout called “Timeless Treasure” using the gorgeous new Limited Edition stack, The Homemaker.
All the papers used on this layout are from this stack. I adore The Homemaker stack as it has a variety of different types and textures of paper. There is lots to play and be creative with as these lovely pages range from canvas roses to dress patterns, from vintage music sheet to age old vintage book pages! This pack is truly a treasure for crafters!!
I created some ruffle flowers using the dressmaking tissue paper.
To make the flowers, I cut a strip of the dressmaking tissue, stitched along one edge and tied a knot at one end. At the other end I pulled the thread which gathered the tissue. I added pearls to make the flower centres.
I really love the vintage music paper that comes with some extra roses canvas paper pre-stitched onto it. Each page is unique. It’s superb!
I layered the vintage tissue over the music paper then added my embellishments on top.
I hope you will enjoy this stack as much as I do. It’s my favourite!
