Trust Your Crazy Ideas by Paula perry
Hello, it’s Paula Perry on the blog today. I love mixing and matching ArtStacks packs and I used papers from four different packs to make this art journal page.
I started by created a grid design, sticking down cardstock from Deb Weiers’ Wonky Backgrounds pack in three of the squares, then I coloured three more squares with coloured pencils in colours to match the cardstock. I added three figures from Deb Weiers’ Wonky Bits pack. These are printed on heavy rice paper, which I stuck down with tape rather than glue, so the pieces didn’t become see-through. I die-cut a banner from the same cardstock which I added to the centre square. To continue this theme, I cut the second banner from Shana Bebeklis’ Happy Scraps pack. This is printed on mixed media paper so it can be coloured but I chose to leave it white.
I added a few splatters of white paint and finished with my title from Shana’s Full Deck pack.
