Hi, it’s Tina and I’m super excited to be sharing my first project with all of you as an ArtStacks’ Artist! The slow days of summer have come to an end and life’s pace is picking up for a lot of us. With that in mind, I kept this project very simple. I used two ArtStacks packs because I love how effortlessly they can be combined. They are the Trees and Leaves and the All Dressed Up packs. Here is my project:
And here is my step by step process:
- I created a stenciled background.
- I adhered the tissue paper trees (from the Trees and Leaves pack) using a thin coat of liquid medium both underneath and on top of the image.
- I selected one of the doodled leaves (which will become wings) from the same pack, fussy cut and painted it. (Please note, the paper that the images are printed on is fabulous and will accept paint without gesso.)
- I also selected a phrase from this pack and cut it into various pieces, to add interest.
- Next, I went to the All Dressed Up pack and I chose the image of the dancer, because it spoke to me. After fussy cutting the image, I cut a tiny slit to allow for the wings.
- I selected my favorite mushroom (from the same pack) and fussy cut it.
- I stacked the dancer on the mushroom, inserted the wings through the slit, and glued it all down.
- Then I adhered the phrase (that I had chosen earlier) to my page.
- Finally, I added some marks with stamps, pencils, and coordinating paint.
I used the following packs:
Enjoy . . . and keep creating!
Thank you so much, Tina! Your page is absolutely beautiful.
