‘You Are’ by Tracy Fear
Hi, It’s Tracy Fear here today. I created this A9 size card because it has a lot of real estate and would be fun to tuck into a journal.
I used paint and gold wax to add a little stenciling on a gorgeous background image from Tamara Laporte’s Fabulous Faces pack. I then stitched the rocks from the Gelatin Printing Enthusiasts Art & Nature pack onto a text image from the Tissue Backgrounds release. I used the digital version of the Tissue Backgrounds pack and printed the text image onto deli paper for a different effect. I backed this with some turquoise gauze, then stitched it all down to the background.
I cut out and glued down the “you are” and “you” words from the same Tissue Backgrounds pack directly to the background.
I fussy cut the woman from Tamara’s Fabulous Faces and fussy cut some foam to pop her up in the corner.
Finally, I cut out the encouraging sentiments from the same pack and glued them down to the left side. I mounted the card front onto the card base and added some Stickles, because who doesn’t want a little sparkle and shine!
