You Are Stronger by Claire Stead
Hello, it’s Claire here! I used Tamara Laporte’s Artsy Animals pack and the Trees & Leaves pack to make this page. The colours in the elephant inspired the background.
I started off with a piece of tissue paper form the Artsy Animals pack and then I used a mix of acrylic paints to create the background. I did a bit of reductive stencilling too, to add some pattern to the background before adding more layers of stencilling. Once I was happy with the colours and layers in the background I added the elephant onto the page and then finished off with a quote from the same pack and some tissue paper trees from the Trees and Leaves pack to help ground the focal image and bring some balance to the page.
