Your Life is a Canvas by Tracy Fear
Tracy Fear is back today to share one of her spectacular cards! She has ingeniously used Claire Stead’s Colourful World and Colourful Zine Kit packs to create this amazing work of art:
She tells us how she made it:
- For this US A2 card, I started by creating a colorful background using 1/4 inch strips of paper and placed in a ‘rainbow order.’
- I fussy cut the image of the woman from Clair Stead’s Colourful World pack and adhered it to the rainbow background.
- I collaged some of the stars (printed on tissue) included in the same pack over the top right and bottom left corners of my card.
- I used a film strip die (from my stash) and created the black film strips, two of them backed with transparency film from the Colourful Zine Kit pack, and popped them up over the top.
- I then cut a full A2 size portion of the same transparency with the circles and dots and glued it over the top of the raised film strips.
- Finally, I fussy cut the ‘be bold’ and ‘Your life is a canvas’ from the Colourful World pack and glued them over the top of the transparency.
